International VNS Therapy website and European country websites now online

All the information you need on VNS Therapy is now only one click away - the international VNS Therapy website has been revamped and remains accessible via www.vnstherapy.com/international. But there's more: next to the international website, 12 country-specific websites have been created: Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden and the UK have their country website available in the local languages. For the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Norway), the site is currently available in English and Swedish.

The site consists of two main sections: one for healthcare professionals, and one for patients & families.

The Healthcare Professionals section provides you with more specific information regarding VNS Therapy and pharmacoresistant epilepsy. Next to general information and study results, you will also find clinical studies, physician's manuals, patient tools, educational materials and the latest VNS Therapy News Flashes. EUROPEAN INTENDED USE / INDICATION FOR EPILEPSY

The VNS Therapy System is indicated for use as an adjunctive therapy in reducing the frequency of seizures in patients whose epileptic disorder is dominated by partial seizures (with or without secondary generalisation) or generalised seizures, which are refractory to antiepileptic medications.
